Anna Taylor kept Donoho volleyball at a high level during her four years as a head coach, and she’s ascending to higher levels.

Donoho has promoted Taylor to head of the middle and upper school, the school announced via social media today. The change becomes effective in July.

Her new position will require her to relinquish coaching duties.

Taylor took over Donoho’s volleyball program in 2022, after Jamie Clendenin left, and kept the good times rolling. The Falcons added their 13th state title, the program’s only state title in Class 2A, in 2022.

The other 12 state titles came in Class 1A, but the AHSAA’s “competitive balance” rule for private schools forced Donoho to move up. They competed in Class 3A the last two seasons.

Donoho made three Elite Eight appearances and won three area titles in four seasons under Taylor.
