ALEXANDRIA — Cole Wheeler hit four 3-pointers on the way to 15 points, and Alexandria’s boys picked up an area victory, 50-43 over White Plains.
Eli Kirby and Evan White added 12 points apiece, with White hitting two 3-pointers.
White Plains got 15 points, with two 3-pointers, from Bryson Cheatwood, and Bruce Downey added 13 points.
OXFORD 68, ASHVILLE 52: Marcus Perry Jr. paced Oxford with 22 points, including one 3-pointers. Jaylen Alexander’s 19 points included two 3-pointers.
Caled Wilson and Chris Latson added 10 points apiece.
J.B. Potter paced Ashville with 21 points.
JACKSONVILLE 58, TALLADEGA 49: Jacksonville’s Ben Pridgen scored a game-high 23 points to go with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
Kamouri Harmon added 16 points, four rebounds and three assists. Braylon Kelley added 10 and five rebounds.
Talladega got 20 points, including two 3-pointers, from Jykavien Wright. Jaden Curry added 11 points, and R’Landis Jones added 10 points.
ANNISTON 57, HANDLEY 48: Kyrie Lewis hit three 3-pointers on the way to 13 points to lead Anniston to victory. Jakorie Carr added 11 points..
Kaden Brown hit two 3-pointers while scoring nine points, and T.J. Davis added eight points.
Handley got 14 points from Cordan Patterson and nine from Elijah Stegall.
WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 55, PIEDMONT 45: Titus Jones hit two 3-pointers on the way to 21 points, and Westbrook Christian got a key area victory.
Brady Carden added 14 points, and Bo Kilgo scored eight.
Piedmont’s Rollie Pinto hit two 3-pointers while scoring 21 points, and Taylon Swain added eight points.
CLEBURNE COUNTY 50, CHEROKEE COUNTY 40: Cade Shubert led the Tigers with 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Lyric Ware added 10 points, and Cleburne County got nine points apiece from Caleb Fields and Matthew Wilson.
Cherokee County got a game-high 24 points from Tatum Perry, who hit three 3-pointers.
COOSA CHRISTIAN 54, FAITH CHRISTIAN 41: Coosa Christian got a balanced scoring output, with 11 points apiece from Jaiden Butler, Mac Long and Grayson Malone and nine apiece from Julius Stephens and Sam Reeves.
Faith’s Parker Robertson scored a game-high 18 points, including two 3-pointers.
Girls
WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 43, PIEDMONT 37: Addie Hammontree hit two 3-pointers on the way to 19 points to lead Westbrook to an area victory, and Jordan Brooks added 10 points.
Piedmont’s Amiyah Thomas scored 12 points, and Melanie Studdard added eight.
JACKSONVILLE 61, TALLADEGA 12: Jacksonville’s Jayci Taylor hit two 3-pointers on the way to 24 points, and Neveah Nicholson hit four treys on the way to 17 points.
Nicholson also had seven steals and two rebounds, and Emerson Weaver had nine rebounds and three assists.
Hope Duncan had half of Talladega’s 12 points.
ALEXANDRIA 76, WHITE PLAINS 24: LaNajia Redwine matched White Plains’ 24 points, and the Valley Cubs rolled to victory.
Kate Wheeler hit three 3-pointers on the way to 15 points. Ella Harper added 14 points, and Cali Hess added 10.
White Plains’ Brooksly Thielker scored 18 points.
ANNISTON 36, HANDLEY 25: Summer Flentroy led Anniston with 10 points and contributed three steals. Liberty Lewis had eight points, three steals, two rebounds and two assists. Saniyah Spinks added seven points, seven rebounds and six steals, and Yuori Lloyd added seven points, 11 rebounds and two steals.
OXFORD 57, ASHVILLE 34: Takayvia Boyd paced Oxford with 16 points. Mikynlei Mosley added 10, Malaysia Forbes nine and Bri Wilson eight.
Ashville got 11 points from Maddie Sanders.
SAKS 54, WELLBORN 16: Saks’ Sania Angel poured in 26, and Raven English added 12.
RANBURNE 41, RANDOLPH COUNTY 29: Ranburne’s Tinley Phillips hit three 3-pointers on the way to scoring a game-high 15 points, and Kallie Burson added 12 points.
Randolph County’s Lizzie Milam hit two 3-pointers on the way to 12 points.
