A roundup of Tuesday’s area games:
Class 4A, Area 12 boys
ALEXANDRIA 77, CLEBURNE COUNTY 64: J.J. Beason hit three 3-pointers on the way to 22 points, and Alexandria beat Cleburne County 77-64 on Tuesday’s Class 4A, Area 12 championship.
The Valley Cubs earned the right to play host to their sub-regional game. They will play Area 16 runner up DAR on Saturday.
Cleburne County will go on the road to play Area 16 champion Plainview.
Besides hitting three 3-pointers, Beason hit 13 of 16 free throws, and Alexandria hit 29 of 43 free throws overall.
M.J. Morris added 16 points, and Cole Wheeler hit three 3-pointers on the way to 12 points. Royce Trantham added 10 points.
Cleburne County’s Lyric Ware scored 19 points, and Cade Shubert scored 17.

Class 5A, Area 11 girls
JACKSONVILLE 82, LINCOLN 45: Neveah Nicholson hit five of nine 3-point shots on the way to 24 points, and the Golden Eagles rolled to the area title.
Jacksonville will play host to Area 10 runner up Ramsay in Friday’s sub-regional action. Lincoln will go on the road to play Area 10 winner Moody.
Jacksonville’s Ontarriah Braxton added 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists against Lincoln. Jayci Taylor added 17 points, six rebounds and three steals.
Lincoln got 21 points, 10 rebounds and four steals from Lariah Robinson and 14 points from Aubrey Machen.

WEAVER 62, RANDOLPH COUNTY 47: D.J. Marbury led the way with 20 points, and Weaver earned the right to play host to its sub-regional game.
The Bearcats will play Area 13 runner up Collinsville on Saturday, and Randolph County will go on the road to play Area 13 winner Geraldine.
Junior Allen hit three 3-pointers while scoring 16 points and contributed six rebounds], and Phoxton Benjamin’s 15 points came with 14 rebounds.
Randolph County got 19 points from C.J. Johnson, including three 3-pointers.
Class 3A, Area 9 girls
SAKS 40, WEAVER 28: Sania Angel poured in 26 points, and Saks made it back-to-back area titles.
The Wildcats earned the right to play host to its sub-regional game and will play host to Area 13 runner up Fyffe on Fridar. Weaver will go on the road to play Area 13 winner Sylvania.
Aaliyah Marks led Weaver with 13 points, and Maddie Stanford contributed eight.
Class 3A, Area 12 boys
WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 63, GLENCOE 52: Case Burton turned in 18 points, nine rebounds, two blocks and one steal to lead Westbrook to the area title.
The Warriors earned the right to play host to their sub-regional game and will play host to Area 14 runner up Asbury on Saturday. Glencoe will go on the road to play Area 14 champion Whitesburg Christian.
Westbrook’s Brodey Wood scored 15 points to go with three rebounds, two steals and three assists. Titus Jones added 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Brady Carden chipped in 10 points, five rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Bo Kilgo’s five points came with seven rebounds and 10 assists.
