Weaver nets six more goals to lead Jacksonville girls past Saks. Jacksonville boys, Donoho girls victorious. Donoho’s Barnett sweeps through Muscle Shoals tourney.

SAKS โ Emerson Weaver backed up her nine-goal showing in Jacksonvilleโs season opener with six on Monday, and the Golden Eagles beat Saks 10-0.
Weaver has 15 goals in two matches, and Jacksonville has 21. She also had an assist Monday. Her six goals came on 12 shots.
Willa Kate Walker added three goals against Saks, and Olivia Williams scored one. Noelle McKerchar, Mackenzie Fletcher and Sophie Snyder added an assist apiece.
JACKSONVILLE BOYS 3, SAKS 2: Jacksonville got a goal apiece from Cameron Turner, Miles Sawyer and Colin Thurman. Goalkeeper Jackson Patterson had eight saves.
DONOHO GIRLS 3, CHEROKEE COUNTY 1: Chloe Melton scored two goals, and Donoho improved to 2-0.
Brooke Vandiber added one goal, and Donoho got an assist apiece from Haniah Rehman and Katelyn McMorris.
Tennis
Donoho’s Avery Barnett swept through three matches to win the No. 1 girls’ singles bracket in the Muscle Shoals Trojan Tennis Classic. She beat No. 1s from Jasper, Madison Academy and James Clemens. She won the championship match 2-6, 7–6 (7-0), 10-8.
