Johnson leads the way as Munford snaps Cleburne County’s winning streak. Jacksonville, Jacksonville Christian sweep boy-girl doubleheaders.

MUNFORD — Marquell Johnson led three Munford players in double figures with 16 points, and Munford avenged an early season loss to Class 4A No. 7 Cleburne County on Thursday, beating the Tigers 62-48.’
Munford improved to 14-5 while ending Cleburne County’s 16-game winning streak. The Tigers fell to 17-2.
Kendarius Hickman added 13 points, and Joshua Smith added 10.
Cleburne County’s Lyric Ware and Cade Shubert added 15 points apiece, and Cavin Bates added 10.
JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 68, FAITH CHRISTIAN 60: Noah Lee hit 10 of 12 free throws on the way to 27 points, and JCA improved to 11-7. He also hit a 3-pointer, grabbed 23 rebounds and dished out five assists.
Bryson Dowdey hit three 3-pointers on the way to 17 points, and Wil Hudson’s 11 points included three 3-pointers.
Faith’s Parker Robertson matched Lee’s game-high 27 points, hitting two 3-pointers. Colin Anderson added 19 points for the Lions (13-7).
JACKSONVILLE 48, ST. CLAIR COUNTY 44: Kamouri Harmon hit three 3-pointers on the way to 19 points, and Jacksonville picked up an area win while improving to 11-10. He also had seven rebounds and four assists.
Ben Pridgen added 16 points and seven rebounds, and Malik Coleman had a team-high nine rebounds.
Michael Watkins led St. Clair County with 12 points, and Lincoln Bozeman added nine.
COOSA VALLEY 53, HOPE CHRISTIAN 50: Kailub Sparks led Hope with 12 points, three steals and two blocks. Javon Vinson contributed 10 points and eight rebounds, and Liam Avery added 10 points and six rebounds.
Girls
JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 62, FAITH CHRISTIAN 21: Modasti Carr led Class 1A No. 7 JCA (14-1) with 15 points. She also had seven rebounds, five steals and three assists.
Addy Lee turned in 13 assists, 10 steals and seven rebounds to go with 14 points, and Mollie Mullinax’s 13 points came with eight rebounds.
Sophie Williams contributed nine points, 10 rebounds, three steals and three assists, and Audrina Williams added nine points and seven rebounds.
JACKSONVILLE 53, ST. CLAIR COUNTY 19: Neveah Nicholson hit three 3-pointers on the way to 17 points, and Class 5A No. 6 Jacksonville improved to 18-3 while picking up an area victory. She also had nine steals, three rebounds and two assists.
Jayci Taylor added 11 points, six steals and four rebounds, and Ontarriah Braxton hit seven of 10 free throws on the way to 11 points. Braxton also had five rebounds and four steals.
Emerson Weaver had six steals, five rebounds and two assists to go with six points.
Vylet Byers led St. Clair County with eight points.
