Four Cleburne County wrestlers go unbeaten, and the Tigers finish fourth in the Charles Bruce Duals at Fultondale. Alexandria with strong showing at Mountain Brook.

FULTONDALE — Cleburne County went 5-1 and finished fourth in the Charles Bruce Duals on Friday and Saturday.
Hayden won, with Gardendale and Pace (Fla.) rounding out the top three.
Cleburne County beat Curry 76-0, John Carroll Catholic 70-10, Moody 62-15, Fultondale 71-4, and Mortimer Jordan 42-38. The Tigers lost to Pace 46-36.
Cleburne County’s Zeke Martin, Cael Fulmer, Kendall Miller and Zander Martin went undefeated for the two days of the duals, and the Tigers improved to 18-1.
ALEXANDRIA: The Valley Cubs finished 11th out of 25 teams at the Merrill Lynch Spartan Invitational on Saturday at Mountain Brook. Individual highlights included Jeremy Lambert’s third-place finish in the 120-pound bracket and fourth-place finishes from Hudson Hartzog (126) and Ryker Houston (132).
