MUNFORD —.Cole Wheeler hit on five of seven passes for 121 yards and a touchdown, and Alexandria finished the regular season with a 35-15 victory at Munford.

The Valley Cubs finished the regular season 9-1 and will play host to Fayette County in the first round of the playoffs on Nov. 7.

Munford finished 1-9.

Wheeler also rushed for a 1-yard touchdown.

Alexandria’s Evan White caught two passes for 80 yards, including Wheeler’s 71-yard touchdown pass.

Ryan Brown rushed for a team-high 78 yards, and J.J. Beason’s 72 yards included touchdown runs of 12 and three yards.

Jonathan Santos rushed for 62 yards, including a 9-yard touchdown run.

Munford’s Braydon Nichols rushed for 77 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown run. He also hit on seven of 12 passes for 78 yards, with a 31-yard touchdown pass to Kane Krafthefer.

CLEBURNE COUNTY 27, WHITE PLAINS 14: Jaylon Baker completed six of 11 for 103 yards, and Cleburne County led 27-0 on the way to finishing its season 4-6.

White Plains finished 3-7.

Cade Shubert threw a 63-yard touchdown pass, and Gavin Robinson completed his only pass for eight yards.

Lyric Ware caught three passes for 96 yards and a touchdown, and Shubert caught two passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Alijah Ware rushed  21 times for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Erick Perides made field goals of 20 and 31 yards.

White Plains’ Crew Martin completed 11 of 23 passes for 156 yards, and Bryson Cheatwood caught five passes for 47 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown reception.

RANDOLPH COUNTY 25, HOKES BLUFF 7: Mo Winston rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown, and Randolph County finished the regular season at 8-2.

The Tigers will open the playoffs Nov. 7 at Thorsby.

Winston’s touchdown run covered 78 yards. He also returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.

Brayden Terrell’s 43 yards rushing included a 12-yard touchdown run, and Elijah Thrift had a 5-yard touchdown run.

Hokes Bluff’s Brennen Ward returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown. The Eagles finished 4-6, losing their final five games.
