JACKSONVILLE — Anniston’s dreams lie beyond the regular season, but 10-0 has a nice ring to it.
Their first unbeaten regular season since 2022 also means the Bulldogs get to live something they once watched older Bulldogs do.
Quintavious Cunningham’s fumble recovery for a touchdown on the second half’s kickoff provided the spark, and Anniston topped Jacksonville 18-3 in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Anniston (10-0) will play host to Fultondale in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs on Nov. 7. Jacksonville (5-5) will go on the road to take on Ramsay in Class 5A.
