New coaching staff, another largely new roster make biggest question facing Jax State football this season simple: do the FBS good times roll on?
JACKSONVILLE — Jax State football played itself well past doubt that it could find its FBS niche under Rich Rodriguez, and he didn’t leave much for successor Charles Kelly.
A handful of Rodriguez’s best players followed him to West Virginia, complicating the already complicated modern college football reality of coaches having to rebuild rosters annually.
With Rodriguez having given Jax State its hand up from FCS and 51 new players, one fundamental question remains as the Gamecocks eye Thursday’s Kelly-era opener at Central Florida.
