TALLADEGA — Jacksonville State commit Noah Lee completed 15 of 25 passes for three touchdowns, and Jacksonville Christian opened its season with a 54-24 victory at Alabama School for the Deaf.
He also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown and had three tackles/
Anthony Gooch caught three passes for 64 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown. He had six tackles.
Bryson Dowdey caught six passes for 85 yards and contributed two interceptions and a tackle on defense.
J.H. Harris contributed a rushing and receiving touchdown and a team-high seven tackles, and T.J. Scott rushed for a score with four tackles.
Jamborees
OAK MOUNTAIN 21, OXFORD 13: Varsity players played in the first half, and Oxford led 10-7 at halftime. Caleb Wynn had a touchdown run, and Eli Pesnell kicked a field goal.

SPRING GARDEN TIES, FALLS: Spring Garden tied Ranburne 13-13 and fell to North Sand Mountain 7-6 at Spring Garden.
In the tie with Ranburne, Spring Garden took the early lead on Brady Ruark’s 46-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. The extra point made it 7-0 at the 4:23 mark of the first quarter.
Ranburne responded almost two minutes later in the quarter on Aiden Whitman’s touchdown run. The point after was no good, keeping the score at 7-6, Spring Garden.
Cam Cade extended the Panther lead to 13-6 on a 14-yard touchdown run with 6:36 remaining in the second quarter. The PAT was no good.
Ranburne scored the scrimmage’s final touchdown on a run with 4:56 left in the scrimmage. The point after was good.
Ryder Kraika led the Panthers with 40 yards on four carries. Ben Baker added 20 yards on three carries. Cade carried for 18 yards on a pair of totes. Ruark ran for 16 yards on four carries. Clayton Sadler finished with 14 yards on three carries.
After Ranburne fell to North Sand Mountain 14-0 in the next scrimmage, the Bison held on to defeat Spring Garden in the nightcap.
The Bison scored first on a touchdown pass by Cade Davis. The PAT gave North Sand Mountain a 7-0 lead with 5:07 left in the first quarter.
Sadler scored on a 2-yard run with 4:40 to go in the second. The point after failed.
Ruark had 14 yards on three carries. Sadler tallied 10 yards on three totes. Zane Edwards had an interception on defense.
