Things to know about Ohatchee football heading into the 2026 season:

— Blake Jennings enters his second season as Ohatchee’s head football coach, The Indians went 3-7 in 2025. He’s 9-21 in three seasons as a head coach overall, at White Plains and Ohatchee..

— AHSAA realignment separated public and private schools for championship play and eliminated Class 7A, causing several schools to move down in classification. Ohatchee bumped down to Class 2A for the first time since 2019 and will align with Gaston, Piedmont, Pleasant Valley, Vincent, Wellborn and West End-Walnut Grove in Region 6.

— Key graduation losses from last year include the following All-Calhoun County players: OL Quinn Nunnely and TE Alston Carroll. 

— Key returnees the following All-Calhoun County players: senior OL Braxton Davis, senior LB Gus Hunter, junior WB/CB Phoenix Tuiolosega, senior DL Parker Crump, senior LB Jayden Siegler, senior QB Carson Sanders and junior kicker Anthony Garcia. 

— Senior TE/LB Case Tittle, son of former Ohatchee principal Bobby Tittle, will play out his senior year at Ohatchee after playing at Cherokee County, where his father served as principal until retiring. DE/OT Mason Colvin, who sat out the 2025 season after transferring from Southside, figures to be a key cog for Ohatchee this season. Safety Sawyer Beegle, son of head basketball coach and assistant football coach David Beegle, will make a big impact as a freshman.
