MVP Johnson finishes stellar series with complete game, and Warriors claim Class 4A state title under first-year head coach.

JACKSONVILLE — Most valuable player Brodie Johnson pitched a complete-game masterpiece to go with his three hits, and Westbrook Christian beat Bibb County 10-2 in Wednesday’s Game 2 on Jax State’s Rudy Abbott Field to clinch the AHSAA Class 4A stat title series.

The Warriors finished 28-10 and made their head coach, Ricky Ray Clayton, a state champion in his first season as a head coach.
