FLORENCE — Brody Blevins drove in three runs, and Westbrook Christian beat Central-Florence 9-6 in Thursday’s Game 3 of their Class 4A semifinal series.

The Warriors (26-10) advanced to the best-of-3 state title series and will play Bibb County on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Choccolocco Park.

Westbrook Christian will make its first appearance in the state finals since falling to Thomasville in the 2024 Class 3A finals. The Warriors will make their sixth finals appearance overall and seek their second state title, the first a Class 2A title in 2021.

Westbrook Christian will make its finals return under Ricky Ray Clayton, a first-year head coach on the high school level. The former Etowah assistant coaches the SunBelt League’s Choccolocco Monsters, a summer wood-bat team for college players.
