Donoho girls edge Madison Academy 4-3, earn third consecutive Final Four berth. Will play Whitesburg Christian in 1A-3A semifinals.

ANNISTON — Huntsville in May continues to be a rite for Donoho girls’ soccer.

Katelyn scored two goals, and the Falcons beat visiting Madison Academy in Friday’s Class 1A-3A quarterfinal match.

Donoho (15-4) advances to its third consecutive Final Four and fifth overall. The Falcons will play Whitesburg Christian on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Huntsville’s John Hunt Park.

Donoho also got a goal apiece from Brooke Vandiber and Sophia on Friday. Lauren Wigley and Isabela Romero each had an assist.

The Falcons have outscored opponents 92-21 this season.
