Oxford’s Maniscalco, among Oxford’s five baseball and softball signees Thursday, decides among ‘good options’ now, eyes potential draft options later.

OXFORD — Baseball and softball athletes highlighted the first of two signing celebration ceremonies at Oxford High School on Thursday.

Haleigh Pruitt, Rocco Maniscalco, Marcus Lawler, Zakaree Newton and Canaan Whitman all had their time to talk and do mock signings after having previously signed: Pruitt with Snead State Community College, Lawler with Chipola College, Maniscalco with Mississippi State, Newton with Huntingdon College and Whitman with Huntingdon College.
