Van Meter recognized for reaching 300 wins as Oxford boys wins on senior night. Alexandria, Munford, PV, WP, Heflin and Cedar Bluff boys victorious. Jacksonville, Ranburne, Pleasant Valley, Saks and Cedar Bluff girls win.

OXFORD — Senior Jaylen Alexander poured in 30 points, including two 3-pointers, and Oxford celebrated a night of recognitions with a 71-68 victory over Hazel Green.
Oxford (24-4), coming off of winning its 25th Calhoun County title, recognized 16th-year head coach Joel Van Meter, who reached 300 career victories during Oxford’s victory over Jacksonville Christian in the quarterfinals of last week’s 75th Calhoun County Tournament.
The Yellow Jacket also celebrated senior night, recognizing Alexander, Jay’lin Taylor and Keylan Moore.
Marcus Perry Jr. added 15 points, including three 3-pointers.
ALEXANDRIA 62, JACKSONVILLE 54: Cole Wheeler hit four 3-pointers on the way to 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Alexandria improved to 18-7.
The Valley Cubs also got 14 points, including two 3-pointers, from M.J. Morris and 13 points from Evan White.
Calvan Hill led Jacksonville with 14 points, and Braylon Kelley’s 11 points included two 3-pointers. Kamouri Harmon added nine points.
PLEASANT VALLEY 75, DONOHO 64: Mason Myers led Pleasant Valley (15-11) with 17 points, and the Raiders finished the regular season with a victory.
Braxton Salster added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Peyton Mann added 11 points. The Raiders also got eight points from Aiden Bonds and seven from Greer Laros.
Donoho’s Ethan Crawford scored 20 points. Bryant Whitney and Gager Church had 11 points apiece.
WHITE PLAINS 63, GLENCOE 57: Bryson Cheatwood poured in 27 points, and White Plains improved to 18-11.
Crew Martin added 10 points, including two 3-pointers, and Will Graham had nine points.
Glencoe got 19 points from Grant Smith, including two 3-pointers. Bryce Borntrager added 15 points, and Wayne Nowack added 11.
MUNFORD 52, WOODLAND 26: Joshua Smith led the way with 11 points, and Munford improved to 18-6.
Kaydeen Mosley added nine points, and the Lions got eight points apiece from Marquell Johnson and B.J. Anderson.
Nate Herren led Woodland with eight points, including two 3-pointers.
CLEBURNE COUNTY 88, OHATCHEE 45: Cavin Bates led the way with 20 points, and Cleburne County improved to 21-5.
Lyric Ware added 16 points. The Tigers also got 12 points from Cade Shubert, 11 from Caleb Fields and 10 from Bennett Grubbs.
Ohatchee’s Alston Carroll hit six 3-pointers on the way to a game-high 24 points. Chris West’s eight points included two 3-pointers.
CEDAR BLUFF 71, JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 54: Noah Lee turned in 21 points, 22 rebounds and four assists for JCA (15-9). Bryson Dowdey added 15 points and seven rebounds.
FORT PAYNE 56, ANNISTON 55: Fort Payne got a break when a disc jockey started playing music while the game’s final shot was in the air. Officials called a delay and put 1.8 seconds back on the clock, and Fort Payne turned the opportunity into a game-winning bucket.
The ending put a damper on senior night for the Bulldogs (13-7). Anniston honored seniors Dakyus Baker, Jakorie Carr, T.J. Davis, Faheem Dothard, Tariq Judkins, Kyree Lewis and Charles Thomas.
Girls
JACKSONVILLE 66, ALEXANDRIA 56: Jayci Taylor poured in 26 points, and Jacksonville improved to 25-4.
Neveah Nicholson hit three 3-pointers on the way to 23 pointsNeveah Nicholson hit three 3-pointers on the way to 23 points.
Alexandria got 11 points apiece from Cali Hess, LaNajia Redwine and Kate Wheeler, who hit three 3-pointers. Charlee Parris scored 10 points.
RANBURNE 50, WADLEY 19: Tinley Phillips hit six 3-pointers on the way to 20 points, and Ranburne improved to 22-6. Maranda Ralston added seven points.
Hannah Spraddling paced Wadley with nine points.
PLEASANT VALLEY 60, DONOHO 53: Pleasant Valley’s Lilly Robinson poured in 35 points, including two 3-pointers. She scored 19 of the Raiders’ 27 fourth-quarter points.
Hanna Henry and Sarah Freeman added eight points apiece.
Donoho’s Maddie Shute scored 26 points, including two 3-pointer, and Bentlee Pahman added 11 points.
CEDAR BLUFF 61, JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 54: Modasti Carr scored a team-high 18 points for JCA (17-3) and grabbed nine rebounds.
Addy Lee turned in 16 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Mollie Mullinax added 12 points, four rebounds and three steals, and Sophie Williams’ night included eight points, nine rebounds and two assists.
SAKS 43, COOSA CHRISTIAN 36: Senior Sania Angel paced Saks with 21 points as Saks celebrated senior night with a victory.
Besides Angel, the Wildcats also recognized senior Alayah Christopher. Freshman Madison Lindsey added nine points.
Coosa Christian got seven points apiece from Jaykigh Dupree and Natalie Delp.
