Piedmont boys top Glencoe in area play, and Glencoe’s girls win. Jacksonville, JCA sweep doubleheaders. Anniston, Faith Christian and Pleasant Valley boys win. Ranburne, Spring Garden girls victorious.

GLENCOE — Rollie Pinto had one of those nights Tuesday. So did Glencoe’s Grant Smith.
Pinto hit three 3-pointers and 16 field goals overall on the way to 41 points to lead Piedmont to a 59-49 victory in area play Tuesday.
Ethan Tidwell added eight points as Piedmont improved to 13-5.
Glencoe’s Grant Smith hit five 3-pointers on the way to 33 points.
ANNISTON 70, WHITE PLAINS 22: Dakyus Baker hit four 3-pointers on the way to 21 points, and Anniston (10-5) avenged a week-old loss to White Plains (15-9) in area play.
Kaden Brown’s 12 points included three 3-pointers, and Tariq Judkins added 12 points.
Bryson Cheatwood led White Plains with seven points.
SYLACAUGA 64, MUNFORD 63: C.J. Franklin paced Sylacauga with 19 points, hitting eight of 11 free throws. Erick O’Neal added 15 points, and Josh Speer added 10.
B.J. Anderson led four Munford (14-6) players in double figures with 17 points. Kendarius Hickman added 13, and the Lions got 12 piece from Joshua Smith and Marquell Johnson.
FAITH CHRISTIAN 63, WELLBORN 25: Faith’s Parker Robertson hit three 3-pointers on the way to 21 points, and Faith (15-8) rolled to victory. Robertson was also honored for reaching the 1,000-career-point Mark, which he did against Gaylesville on Jan. 12.
Four 3-pointers accounted for Dylan Rogers’ 12 points, and Colin Anderson added 12 points.
Winless Wellborn got eight points from Justus Williams.
PLEASANT VALLEY 82, OHATCHEE 51: Braxton Salster poured in 26 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, and Pleasant Valley upped to 13-7.
Cooper Dougal added 13 points and seven assists. Mason Myers turned in 10 points, and the Raiders got nine apiece from Brody Barnwell and Jameson Humphrey.
Alston Carroll led Ohatchee with 24 points, and Coleman Fowler added 11.
JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 69, WOODLAND 57: Anthony Gooch led JCA (12-7) with 22 points. He also had a team-high six assists.
Noah Lee added 19 points and eight rebounds, and Bryson Dowdey added 15 points, seven rebounds and seven steals.
Jack Henry Harris grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
JACKSONVILLE 68, SAKS 32: Ben Pridgen led Jacksonville (12-10) with 17 points. Braylon Kelley added 11 points, and Mason Scoggins scored 10.
Jayden Culpepper led Saks (5-14) with seven points.
CORNERSTONE 53, HOPE CHRISTIAN 50: Carter Slick led Hope with 14 points, and he contributed three rebounds and three assists. Carson Campbell added 13 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Girls
JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 64, WOODLAND 36: Addy Lee led the way with 22 points, 12 rebounds and four steals as Class 1A No. 7 JCA improved to 15-1. She also had three assists.
Modasti Carr added 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Sophie Williams contributed nine points, three steals and two assists.
JACKSONVILLE 72, SAKS 32: Neveah Nicholson crossed the 1,000-career-points threshold while scoring 20 points, and the Golden Eagles improved to 20-3. She hit three 3-pointers and added eight rebounds and two steals.
Jayci Taylor added 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. Ontarriah Braxton’s night featured 11 points, and Raybon Pridgen added 10.
Emerson Weaver had six steals and four assists.
Saks’ Sania Angel hit 13 of 17 free throws on the way to 26 points.
RANBURNE 57, WADLEY 32: Maranda Ralston scored 14 points, and Ranburne improved to 19-6. The Bulldogs also got nine points from Addye Sprayberry, and Tinley Phillips hit two 3-pointers on the way to eight points.
Bentley Mulkey led Wadley with 11 points, and Sereptia Screws added eight.
SPRING GARDEN 64, DONOHO 42: Spring Garden’s Maya Jennings hit four 3-pointers on the way to 22 points, and the Panthers got 16 points apiece from Lacie Jo McMurray and Addie Word. McMurray hit three 3-pointers.
Bentlee Pahman hit three 3-pointers on the way to a career-high 17 points. Madddie Shute added nine points.
GLENCOE 65, PIEDMONT 38: Kinlee Montgomery hit three 3-pointers on the way to a game-high 25 points as Glencoe picked up an area victory.
Payton Grey’s 14 points included three 3-pointers. Mia Talbot and Riley Helms added nine points apiece, with Talbot hitting two 3-pointers.
Amiyah Thomas led Piedmont with 11 points, and Na’Kia Bothwell added 10.
