SAKS — Family life has a funny way of shaping careers, and it helped Weaver to snag its new head football coach.

Logan Brooks will become the Bearcats’ 11th head football coach. The Calhoun County Board of Education voted to approve his hiring Thursday.

Brooks was one of three finalists, Weaver principal Tracy Brazier said.
