Faith’s Robertson surpasses 1,000 career points in victory. Cherokee County and Weaver sweep boy-girl doubleheaders. Ranburne girls pick up 16th victory.

GAYLESVILLE — Faith Christrian’s’ Parker Robertson surpassed 1,000 career points in the first half, and the Lions beat Gaylesville 53-29 on Monday.
Robertson finished with 26 points, including two 3-pointers, and Colin Anderson’s 15 points included three 3-pointers.
CHEROKEE COUNTY 60, PIEDMONT 50: Jaquan Diamond led the way with 20 points, and Centre won this round between rivals of bordering counties.
Tatum Perry added 19 points, including two 3-pointers, and Keyshawn Woods added 11 points.
Rollie Pinto paced Class 3A No. 7 Piedmont (10-5) with 15 points, and Nick Glover’s 10 points included two 3-pointers.
Piedmont played without Taylon Swain, who underwent surgery for an appendicitis on Friday. He’s expected to recover and return in time for the area tournament, Piedmont coach Matt Glover said.
WEAVER 61, OHATCHEE 44: D.J. Marbury scored a game-high 25 points, and Weaver rolled to victory.
Cisco Nira’s three 3-pointers accounted for his nine points, and Junior Allen added eight points.
Ohatchee’s Alston Carroll hit three 3-pointers on the way to 17 points, and Xavir Luna hit three 3-pointers while scoring 11 points.
Girls
RANBURNE 46, HARALSON COUNTY (GA.) 33: Maranda Ralson hit nine out of 11 free throws, including eight of 10 in the fourth quarter, and led Class 2A No. 8 Ranburne (16-6) with 18 points. She also hit two 3-pointers.
Kallie Burson’s 13 points included four 3-pointers. Tinley Phillips hit two 3-pointers on the way to seven points, to go with eight rebounds and four steals.
Addy Sprayberry added four points to go with six rebounds.
CHEROKEE COUNTY 61, PIEDMONT 21: Ellisan Givens scored a team-high 14 points, and Class 4A fourth-ranked Cherokee County (20-2) extended their winning streak to 13 games.
Nevaeh Gaidurgis and Taniya Fife added nine points apiece.
Amiyah Thomas led Piedmont with eight points, and Kenzie Prater added six.
WEAVER 52, OHATCHEE 30: Aaliyah Marks led the way with 30 points, and Weaver rolled. She hit six 3-pointers.
The Bearcats also got eight points apiece from Reyleigh Partner and Maddie Stanford.
Ohatchee’s Mollee Barnes hit three 3-pointers on the way to 12 points, and Payten Walker hit two 3-pointers to account for her six points.
