Lewis leads way as Anniston boys top Winterboro. Ware paces Cleburne County in area victory over Munford.

ANNISTON — Kyrie Lewis hit two 3-pointers on the way to a game-high 23 points, and Anniston’’s boys downed Winterboro 55-46 at home Tuesday.
The Bulldogs improved to 6-2.
Jakorie Carr hit a 3-pointer on the way to 15 points, and Tariq Judkins added nine points.
Jamont O’Neal led Winterboro with 15 points, including one 3-pointer, and Thomas Gooden added 12 points.
CLEBURNE COUNTY 71, MUNFORD 60: Lyric Ware led four Cleburne County players in double figures with 19 points, and the Tigers improved to 11-1 with a victory in Class 4A, Area 8 play.
Cade Shubert added 16 points, Cavin Bates 14 and Caleb Fields 13.
Munford’s Marquell Johnson led all scorers with 21 points, including three 3-pointers. B.J. Anderson, Kendarius Hicks and Kalvin Castleberry added 10 apiece.
The Lions are 11-2.
