PLEASANT VALLEY β€” Pleasant Valley youth football players have clearance to dream now.

They can dream of seasons with double-digit wins and playoff victories, all because the current Raiders and their veteran coach showed the way.

Braxton Salster ran for four touchdowns and threw for two, and Pleasant Valley secured the program’s first-ever playoff victory Thursday, 40-28 over visiting Winston County.

The Raiders (10-1) earned a second-round matchup with either Tuscaloosa Academy or Susan Moore on the road while building on their school-record win total, a mark set when they reached nine in their regular-season finale against Section.
