JACKSONVILLE — How much did it mean for Oxford to win the Calhoun County volleyball title Monday after falling in the finals two years in a row?

“Oh my gosh, it’s so awesome,” Oxford setter Payton Brooks said. “I told coach, I feel, like, so completed right now.

“Like, my life is complete right now.”

The second-seeded Yellow Jackets rallied after falling in the first set and prevailed over top seed Alexandria 13-25, 28-26, 25-22, 25-23 in Pete Mathews Coliseum.
