SYLACAUGA — Rollie Pinto caught four passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns, and Piedmont went on the road to beat B.B. Comer 61-0 in a non-region game Friday.
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 2 in Class 3A in the Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, improved to 5-0.
Mason Morrow caught two passes for 111 yards and a touchdown, and Nick Mixson caught a touchdown pass.
Cole Austin completed eight of nine passes for 291 yards and four touchdowns … 65 and 41 yards to Pinto, 14 yards to Mixson and 10 yards to Morrow.
Noah Bolton led Piedmont rushers with 92 yards on two carries. Bolton, Mixson, Eli Johnson and Jaxson Howard each rushed for a touchdown.
Piedmont gained 504 total yards.
ALEXANDRIA 51, SARDIS 13: M.J. Morris accounted for 261 yards in total offense and five touchdowns, and the Valley Cubs improved to 4-1 with a victory in a non-region game.
Morris caught five passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns, and he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns. His touchdown runs covered 51, 28 and 12 yards, and he caught touchdown passes of 66 and 70 yards.
Quarterback Cole Wheeler completed eight of 11 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns, including a 40-yard touchdown pass to Evan White.
Jayden Nixon added 66 rushing yards, and J.J. Beason rushed for 59. Ashton Brunner added a 13-yard touchdown run, as the Valley Cubs rushed for 304 yards.
ANNISTON 41, PLEASANT GROVE 13: Jabari Williams rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and Class 4A, No. 5 Anniston upped to 5-0 with non-region victory.
Williams’ touchdown runs covered one and 49 yards.
Quintavious Cunningham added 69 yards rushing, including an 18-yard touchdown run, and Damon Pope’s 51 rushing yards featured an 8-yard touchdown run.
Pope completed two of four passes for 49 yards and a 41-yard touchdown pass to Kaleb Moore, and Jamorris Young threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Jakorie Carr.
OXFORD 42, HELENA 7: Maddox Mims completed 10 of 14 passes for 284 yards and four touchdowns, and Oxford (3-3) rebounded from its loss to Mountain Brook on Sept. 19.
Mims also had a rushing touchdown.
Jay’lin Taylor caught six passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown.
Andre Ford caught four passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
HOKES BLUFF 49, GLENCOE 21: Bryce Whitaker rushed fro 247 yards and four touchdowns and completed four of five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown as Hokes Bluff improved to 4-1 with a victory in non-region play.
Whitaker’s touchdown runs covered 76, 12, four and 48 yards. He threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Carson Peppers.
Brenton Hale added touchdown runs of one and four yards.
The Eagles gained 467 or their 517 total yards on the ground.
Glencoe’s Jaymen Mintz completed nine of 22 passes for 106 yards, and Alex Hudson’s 141 rushing yards included an 83-yard touchdown run.
Hayden Hudson returned a fumble 21 yards for a touchdown, and Isaiah Young returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.
Glencoe had 291 total yards.
WHITE PLAINS 40, HORSESHOE BEND 7: Crew Martin completed nine of 17 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns, and the Wildcats improved to 2-3 with a victory in non-region play.
Bryson Cheatwood led all White Plains receivers with five catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
Antonio Woods rushed 12 times for a team-high 112 yards and a touchdown. Braxton Borrelli rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown, and Jayden Murray’s 32 yards rushing included two touchdowns.
The Wildcats finished with 209 yards rushing.
OHATCHEE 42, DONOHO 6: Phoenix Tuiolosega rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and the Indians (2-4) rolled in non-region action to their second consecutive victory.
Carson Sanders completed five of seven passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns, a 27-yard connection with Coleman Fowler and a 7-yard hookup with Alston Carroll.
Brayden Bennett added 74 yards rushing and a touchdown, and Sawyer Beegle’s 14 yards rushing included a touchdown. Gus Hunter added 50 yards rushing.
CENTRAL-CLAY 26, SCOTTSBORO 7: Taylor Boyd rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns, and Class 5A No. 6 Central-Clay improved to 5-1 with a victory over No. 8 Scottsboro in non-region play. Jer’Darius Halll added 66 rushing yards and a touchdown.
CLEBURNE COUNTY 41, WELLBORN 12: Jaylon Baker completed 13 of 15 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns, and Cleburne County upped to 2-3 with a victory in non-region play.
Cade Shubert caught eight passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns and had a 72-yard touchdown run, and Carter Hughes rushed 13 times for 95 yards.
Lyric Ware caught four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.
RANDOLPH COUNTY 34, RANBURNE 7: Randolph County’s victory over Ranburne lasted a half, but all Mo Winston needed was a quarter to have a big night.
Winston rushed four times for 194 yards, all in the first quarter, as the Tigers improved to 4-1 with a victory in non-region play. He scored on runs of 86 and 91 yards and returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown.
WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 49, MUNFORD 0: Brodey Blevins completed 11 of 12 passes for 220 yards and five touchdowns, and Westbrook Christian improved to 4-1 with a victory in non-region play.
Blevins accounted for 243 total yards. He threw a touchdown pass apiece to Brodie Johnson, Bo Kilgo, Maximus Jones, Brodey Wood and Parker Sims. Wood caught two passes for a team-high 91yards, and Sims had to catches for 69 yards.
Titus Jones recorded 13 tackles, including three sacks, and Carter Cothran returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown.
Read Barber was good on all six point-after kicks and averaged 46 yards on three punts. Five of his kickoffs went for touchbacks.
