ALEXANDRIA — Drake Davis hit three of Alexandria’s 11 3-pointers en route to 14 points, and the Valley Cubs beat Cherokee County 87-56 at home Tuesday.

Alexandria’s top performers:

—Quendavion McDowell: 17 points.
—Jaylen Henderson: 16 points (one 3-pointer).
—Cleat Forrest: eight points.
—Tyson Boozer: eight points (two 3-pointers).
—Jeffrey Beason: eight points (two 3-pointers).

Cherokee County’s top performers:

—Jacob Cornejo: 14 points (one 3-pointer).
—Keyshawn Woods: nine points. 

SPRING GARDEN 59, WEAVER 46: John Welsh hit four 3-pointers while scoring a game-high 24 points to lead Spring Garden to victory at home.

SOUTHSIDE 55, GLENCOE 18: Southside’s Laylah Davis hit four 3-pointers and and matched the opposition with 18 points.
