ANNISTON — Anniston’s flag football team appears to have one key to postseason success … peaking at the right time.

Arianna Storey threw five touchdown passes and ran for a touchdown, and the Bulldogs handled Fairfield 39-0 in Tuesday’s first-round Class 1A-4A playoff game at Lott-Mosby Stadium.

Anniston (14-3) will play host to Scottsboro in the second round on Nov. 10 at a time to be determined. Scottsboro beat Greene County 26-0 Tuesday.

Anniston moves forward with confidence.
