Freeman Fite wins ACC Walker Reynolds Club Championship

Freeman Fite shot a final-round 76 Sunday and won Anniston Country Club’s Walker Reynolds Club Championship.
Fite won by three shots over Jack Svensen and Kevin Daugherty with a two-day total 148.
Daugherty drew within one shot of Fite’s lead at the turn, but the eventual champion actually extended his lead with a double bogey on No. 10.
David Sanders won the Senior Flight by six shots after a final-round 75 that featured three birdies. He went into the round tied for the lead with Donald Springer and they were tied through eight holes Sunday, then Sanders took the lead for good with a birdie to Springer’s bogey at 9.
Jake Pollard (No. 6) and Ross Svensen (No. 7) scored eagles in the round. Sanders and First Flight runner-up Hank Smith had the most birdies (5).
