Ford has another big game for Donoho, Ranburne rallies in seventh to turn back Ohatchee

Seth Ford continued to swing a hot bat Thursday and four teammates had multiple hits as Donoho scored its second area victory of the season, 16-1 over Faith Christian.
Ford, who had two homers and six RBIs in the Falcons’ last game, went 3-for-4 with three RBIs against the Lions. Blake Willingham also went 3-for-4 for the Falcons (4-1), while Grayson Marlowe, Tyler Allen and Rod Elston all went 2-for-2. Allen, Elston and Jase Alderman all drove in a pair of runs.
Ford is batting .611 this season (11-for-18) with 16 RBIs and a five-game hitting streak. He is 10-for-15 with 16 RBIs and five extra-base hits in the Falcons’ four victories and in two games against Faith he is 5-for-8 with six runs and five RBIs.
John Noone and Willingham held the Lions to two singles in the five-inning game and struck out six.
Brodie Sewell and Josh Rutledge had Faith’s two hits. Rutledge drove in the Lions’ run with a fourth-inning single.

Ranburne 4, Ohatchee 3: Levi Langley’s two-run single with one out in the bottom of the seventh capped a three-run rally that lifted the Bulldogs to victory.
Ohatchee built a 3-0 lead through its bats in the fifth. Ranburne got a run in the bottom of the fifth before winning it in the seventh.
Brock Young’s bases-loaded walk, the third walk of the inning, brought home Ranburne’s first run of the seventh before Langley’s walkoff single.
Baylee Graham had two hits for the Indians and Grayson Alward had two RBIs.
