ALEXANDRIA: The Valley Cubs swept Gadsden City 25-12, 25-8 and Sylacauga 25-20, 25-16. Alexandria’s top performers:

— Kate Wheeler: six kills, one dig, two blocks.
— Cali Hess: four kills, 19 assists, four digs, one block, two aces.
