JACKSONVILLE — Parker Moore and Nick Johnson have been a pitcher-catcher combination since seventh grade, so why not take it one level beyond high school?

The Jacksonville duo celebrate their signing with Talladega College during a ceremony in Jacksonville High School’s library Wednesday.

It seemed the natural choice for Johnson, a shortstop and pitcher, and Moore, the catcher, to go to the same college.
