OXFORD Luis Landa had three goals and one assist, and No. 2 seed White Plains beat No. 7 Saks 9-0 in Monday’s first round of the Calhoun County soccer tournament at Choccolocco Park.

Gleymar Perez added two goals, and the Wildcats got a goal and an assist apiece from Catcher Jenkins and Hugo Mondragon.

Brodie Wesley and Caleb Goode scored goal apiece.

White Plains will play Donoho on Tuesday at noon.

JACKSONVILLE 3, FAITH CHRISTIAN 1: Elijah Stinson, Landon Garner and Matius Goggins scored a goal apiece as No. 4 Jacksonville beat No. 5 Faith.

Garner and Stinson had an assist apiece.

Jackonville will play top seed Oxford on Tuesday at noon.

DONOHO 8, WEAVER 1: Sam Johnson and Bruce Downey scored two goals apiece as No. 3 Donoho beat No. 6 Weaver.

The Falcons got a goal apiece from Quinyon Williams, Gavin Patter, Trey Alexander and Jack Thomas.

Donoho will play No. 2 White Plains on Tuesday at noon.

Girls

JACKSONVILLE 9, WHITE PLAINS 0: Lexi Page scored four goals to lead No. 3 Jacksonville past No. 6 White Plains.

Emerson Weaver added two goals and four assists, Willa Kate Walker with two goals, and Kylie Terrell one goal and one assist. Olivia Williams also added an assist.

Defensively, Emma Easterling and Joeh Kim led the Golden Eagles. Goalie Kelsie Sigler recorded one save and earned the shutout.

Jacksonville will play Saks on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

SAKS 7, FAITH CHRISTIAN 1: Alonna Crews and Layla Garcia scored three goals apiece as No. 2 Saks advanced against No. 7 Faith.

Kennedy Christian added a goal.

Saks will play Jacksonville on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
