Ohatchee softball puts up 15 runs in one inning, beats Gadsden City 22-4 in three. Lincoln baseball puts up a five-run sixth in victory over Munford.

GADSDEN —- Ohatchee put up a 15-run second inning and beat Gadsden City 22-4 in three innings during Wednesday’s prep softball action.
The Indians took advantage of five Gadsden City errors and 11 walks. They also had seven hits, including doubles by Breanna Martin, Savannah Reaves and Alanah Fitch.
Martin and Makayla Brackett had three RBIs apiece. Fitch, Reaves and Ellie Carden drove in two runs apiece, and Ohatchee got an RBI apiece from Jordyn Faulkner, Mackenzie Luna, B Steward and Tabi Davidson.
Fitch pitched all three innings, allowing two hits, one earned run and two walks with two strikeouts.
Baseball
LINCOLN 8, MUNFORD 4: A five-run sixth inning pushed Lincoln over the top. Bradley Newell’s two-run triple was the biggest blow of the rally. Charles Woodruff and Griffin Wilson added an RBI single apiece.
Carson Perez, Cole East and Nicholas Catlett led Lincoln with two hits and an RBI apiece.
Perez also pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits, three earned runs and three walks with five strikeouts.
For Munford, Austin Wynn went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Jacob King went 2-for-2 with a run and RBI. Lathan Stephens and Gatlin Watts each had a single and RBI, and B.J. Anderson had a double.
