Deadline to enter City of Anniston Championship at Cane Creek approaching; Overton, Springer hit holes-in-one on same ACC hole

The City of Anniston Championship is June 24-25 at Cane Creek.
Entry fee is $110 for Cane Creek members and current Cane Creek USGA GHIN members, $125 for guests from other facilities and other non-annual members. Entry fees include cart, practice balls on days of play and lunch.
Practice rounds are $15 each June 19-23 for registered golfers.
Entries are limited to 100 paid golfers, and played will be governed by USGA rules of competition with local rules applicable. Flights are based on number of entries, and players will be placed in flights after the first day of play.
A championship flight tie for first place will be settled in a playoff.
Entry deadline is June 22 by 5:30 p.m.

Holes-in-one at ACC
Anniston Country Club has seen two recent holes-in-one on No. 5. Reggie Overton and Don Springer aced the same hole. Overton used an 8 iron, and Springer used a 9 iron. Both shots covered 130 yards
