Teams in and around Calhoun County wrap up their regular seasons with a final tune-up in preparation for their area tournaments later this week

Kailey Dickerson had 10 kills, while callups Charlee Parris and Sophie Martin each had three aces in the Saks match. Brenlee Sparks had five aces in the White Plains match.

Seniors Lily Grace Draper and Mary Marshall Perry inched closer to several major career milestones as Donoho won two of three matches in their season-ending quad match. The Lady Falcons (35-13) beat Sylvania and Cherokee County and fell to Spring Garden.

Draper scored 17 kills and had 21 digs in the three matches, moving to 1,965 kills and 1,080 digs in her career. Perry had 10 kills and three blocks, moving to 982 career kills and 293 blocks.

The two victories ran their career wins total to 195.

Over the weekend

Westbrook Christian won the Silver Bracket of Glencoe’s Yellow Jacket Invitational, beating Cleburne County in the final 19-25, 25-16, 15-11. The Lady Warriors (34-5) went 4-1 in the tournament.

Raegan Harrell had a team-high 39 kills, setter Brielle Wood had 76 assists and Raylee Neal moved to libero and had 56 digs.
