Piedmont 15, Sylvania 8: The Lady Bulldogs broke a 5-5 tie with a six-run fifth inning. Savannah Smith, Emily Farmer and Cayla Brothers had four RBIs apiece. Farmer and Brothers both had three hits.

Geraldine 7, Piedmont 5: The Lady Bulldogs answered Piedmont’s two in the top of the first with five in the bottom of the inning and never lost the lead. Piedmont cut its deficit to 6-5 in the fourth, but Geraldine added an insurance run in the sixth. Cacey Brothers drove in a pair of runs for Piedmont. Smith, Jenna Calvert and Sarah Goss had two hits apiece.

White Plains 5, Madison Academy 2: Adriana Sotelo’s solo homer in the fourth broke a 1-1 tie and gave the Lady Wildcats the lead for good. Sotelo, Hallie Williams, Cooper Martin and winning pitcher Leighton Arnold had two hits apiece for White Plains.

North Jackson 4, White Plains 3: Arielle Haynes’ RBI double with two outs in the eighth snapped a 3-3 tie and the Lady Chiefs retired the Lady Wildcats in order in the bottom of the inning. White Plains tied it in the sixth on run-scoring fielder’s choices by Callyn Martin and Courtnee Masson. Arnold struck out 13 in the circle for the Lady Wildcats.
