Talladega outlasts Lincoln in double overtime to reach Talladega County Tournament finals; Wilson, Simmons post career-highs

SYLACAUGA –
D’Corian Wilson and Kobe Simmons both had career highs in scoring Friday night and Talladega needed it all to beat area rival Lincoln 101-92 in double overtime in the semifinals of the Talladega County Tournament.
 
The Tigers will now meet Sylacauga for the tournament championship Saturday at 8 p.m. Sylacauga beat Childersburg 71-56.
 
Wilson scored 40 points, including the bucket to send the game to the second overtime. Simmons had 34 points and nine rebounds.
 
Arron Green grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds. Nigel Scales had seven points, four assists and four steals.
 
Lincoln was led by Brian Garrett’s 31 points. Javion Surles had 28 and Tre Hines had 18.
