CENTRE – The Alexandria wrestling team holds a slim lead over Wetumpka and Oxford after the first day of the Coosa River Clash.

Five wrestlers have posted three pins so far in the tournament, with Alexandria’s 195 Christian Knop posting the fastest cumulative time (2:11). The others with three pins are Oxford’s 126 Wesley Slick (3:28 total time), Wetumpka’s 182 Noah Barclay (7:34) and 120 Kyler Adams (9:04) and Rockmart’s 113 Nicholas Swan (10:47).
