ASWA Poll

4 Calhoun County teams, 6 others from the region pull into Week 10 poll; Piedmont No. 1, Oxford No. 2 going into final regular-season games

Four Calhoun County teams remained in the statewide high school football poll released Tuesday night. Piedmont remained No. 1 in Class 3A, Oxford remained No. 2 in Class 6A, Ohatchee moved back up to No. 7 in 3A after beating Glencoe and Jacksonville fell to No. 10 in 4A after losing at Cherokee County.

East Alabama teams in the poll include Central-Clay County (No. 4) and Etowah (No. 5) in 5A; Handley in 4A (No. 6); and Wadley (No. 5), Cedar Bluff (No. 6) and Spring Garden (No. 7) in 1A.
