Dasia Kirksey scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the fourth-ranked Golden Eagles to an area victory.

Three other Golden Eagles scored in double figures – Aniyah Robinson (11), Kyra Williams (11) and Ataliya Morgan (10).

White Plains’ heather Barno led all scorers with 15 points on the strength of 5-for-14 shooting from behind the 3-point arc.

The Lady Wildcats trailed 26-12 at halftime, but used a strong second half to make things interesting. Barno hit four of her 3s in the second half.

The Lady Lions picked up their defensive intensity in the second half and it lifted them to their third area victory.

Faith led only 19-17 at halftime, but played a tighter brand of defense that led to a 25-11 second half. Madison Stephens scored 13 points in the first half and finished with a game-high 21.The Lady Lions

ASHVILLE – Makenzie Hanks hit four 3-pointers – three in the second quarter – as the Lady Indians scored a much-needed area win. Hanks was the only player in the game to score in double figures. She had 13 points.
