DONOHO: The Falcons went 3-2 in the Albertville Invitational, falling to Geraldine 25-23, 16-25, 11-15; beating Sylvania 25-19, 25-22; falling to DAR 12-25, 20-25; beating Springville 25-21, 16-25, 15-12; and beating Brewer 25-21, 25-16.

PLEASANT VALLEY:. Playing in the Labor Day Tournament in Foley, the Raiders fell to Pensacola 25-23, 17-25, 9-15 in a pool play match. In silver bracket play, Pleasant Valley beat Decatur Heritage 25-22, 25-14; beat Alabama School of Cyber Technology 25-17, 21-25, 15-12; and fell to Wetumpka 18-25, 23-25 in the bracket final.
