Jacksonville cross country, track standout will continue running for Mississippi College

JACKSONVILLE — Injuries prompted Quinn Weaver to give up basketball and concentrate on track and cross country, and injuries impacted his final two cross country seasons.

There’s still a happy ending to this story.

The Jacksonville High senior signed Friday to compete in track and cross country for Mississippi College. He chose Mississippi College over Erskine College and feelers from Jacksonville State.
