Cheatwood leads White Plains boys to victory, and Marks lights it up for Weaver’s girls.

WHITE PLAINS — Bryson Cheatwood scored a game-high 21 points, and White Plains’ boys opened their season with a 72-54 victory over visiting Weaver on Friday.
Will Graham added 15 points, and Bruce Downey 13. Harmon Cobb chipped in nine points.
Phoxton Benjamin led Weaver with 12 points to go with nine rebounds, and D.J. Marbury had 11. Junior Allen added eight points.
WEAVER 51, WHITE PLAINS 43: Aaliyah Marks poured in 35 points and had five steals to lead Weaver’s girls to victory at White Plains.
Kimora Miles added 12 rebounds, and Maddie Stanfoerd had eight rebounds to go with her seven points.
White Plains’ Brooksly Thielker scored 17 points, and Ella Ponder added eight.
