Alexander picks up where he left off, and Oxford boys open the season with victory at Ausitn.

DECATUR — Senior guard and Belmont University commit Jaylen Alexander scored a game-high 24 points, and Oxford’s boys opened their season with a 59-56 victory at Austin on Tuesday.

Alexander scored 16 points in the second half. Chris Latson added 13 points, and Jay’lin Taylor scored 10
