Oxford’s Brooks, Alexandria’s Welch take top awards on the East Alabama Sports Today Class 4A-6A All-Calhoun County team.

Oxford’s Payton Brooks is the 2025 East Alabama Sports Today Class 4A-6A All-Calhoun County player of the year, putting up 1,036 assists, or 22.0 per match. She also had 391 digs, 57 aces, 55 kills and 13 blocks. The former Alabama North All-Star finished her career with 4,677 assists, good enough for eighth all time on the AHSAA career list.
