East Alabama Sports Today’s All-Calhoun County wrestling team for 2024. Based on results from the Calhoun County championships, with postseason results factoring into choices for wrestlers and coach (or coaches) of the year.
2024 Boys All-Calhoun County wrestling team
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR
Mason Hahm, White Plains
Notable: Won county and state championships in his weight class, the only wrestler in the county to do so. His state title is the first of his career.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Andy Fulmer, Weaver
Notable: Coached the Bearcats to sectional titles plus duals and traditional state championships. Weaver won its first state duals title and won its third consecutive Class 1A-4A traditional state title. Finished runner up to Alexandria at county.

2024 Girls All-Calhoun County wrestling team
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR
Lena Johannson, Weaver
Notable: Won county and state championships in her weight class. Her 138-pound state title marked the fourth state title of her career. Also ranks 24th nationally the only wrestler in the county to do so. His state title is the first of his career.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Andy Fulmer, Weaver
Notable: Coached the Bearcats to the championship at the first-ever county girls’ tournament. Class 3A Weaver finished fifth at state, finishing behind four 7A schools. Johannson won her fourth individual state title, and Weaver had seven total state placers.
