Ogle didn’t immediately have statistics but credited senior Camrie Denhem, Dakari Jones, and A.J. Twymon for leading the way.

Ogle will also coach Saks’ softball team in the spring. She previously coached Saks’ softball and girls’ basketball teams, with her teams winning Calhoun County basketball titles in 2010 and 2016 and a county softball title in 2013 before her time away from the games.

“I had some unexpected life issues that got me out of coaching, but I couldn’t be more excited to be back in it,” she said. “It’s just in my blood. It’s what I’m passionate about.

“We really have a very young, very athletic group of kids coming up through Saks, and I think, with the right things in place, these girls will be something to watch this year!”
