DONOHO 57, SOUTHEASTERN 47: Drew Williamson and the Falcons made a quick turnaround out of a quick turnaround.

Less than 18 hours after a dismal showing against host Gaston, the Falcons more than doubled their offensive production. Williamson went for 35 points after being held to six the night before.

Williamson hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter and had 13 of the Falcons’ 15 points. He scored 19 points in the first half.

“Yesterday just felt like nothing could go down for me, but today was a lot better,” Williamson said. “I was able to make some shots early and that kept me confident throughout the whole game.”

As much as the Falcons enjoyed having their leading scorer come back around, they’d still like to get more players involved in the scoring. Jordan Cameron was the second leading scorer with seven points.

“We’ve still got to get other guys to put it in the hoop or we shouldn’t have to rely on Drew having to account for around 60-70 percent of offense each night,” Falcons coach Korielle Beavers said.
