White Plains 8, Munford 5: Courtnee Masson ripped a two-run bases-loaded double with the go-ahead run scoring on an error to highlight a seven-run fourth inning. Kristen Rhodes and Cooper Martin both had two hits for White Plains. Jaylee Crow gave up only one hit in seven innings – a sixth -inning double to Mekiah Mosley – in the circle.
Piedmont 7, Weaver 0: Savannah Smith had a no-hitter through four innings and pitched a complete-game two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts. Emily Farmer went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Cacey Brothers went 3-for-4 and Jenna Calvert drove in a pair of runs.
Alexandria 10, Lincoln 0: Ashley Phillips ripped three doubles, Chloe Gattis went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Rylee Gattis struck out 11 over five innings in a two-hit shutout.
Pleasant Valley 14, Ohatchee 4: The Lady Raiders (8-5-1) opened area play with a big win.
Morgan Blohm reached base all four times she batted (three walks, hit by pitch) and scored three runs. Macey Roper was a homer short of the cycle and drove in four runs. Rylee Haynes, Gracee Ward and Haylie Lee all had two hits.
Jacksonville Christian 19, Jefferson Christian 4: Erin Prater, Hannah Clayton, Ella Kines and Kara Grace all had three hits for the Lady Thunder. Krymson Clay spun three shutout innings and struck out six in the circle for the win.
Ragland 11, Faith Christian 1: The Lady Purple Devils scored 11 in the first inning.
Pell City 14, Oxford 4: Cohlee Boone hit a solo homer in the first to give Oxford the lead and a game-tying two-run double in a three-run second, but Pell City took the lead for good with five in the bottom of the inning. Boone went 3-for-3.

Wellborn 11, Pleasant Valley 6: The Panthers waited nearly a week to get some payback from their 14-4 Calhoun County Tournament loss and beat the Raiders in their first game back.
Beau Neely went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and JoJo Wyatt and Will Phillips each drove in a pair of runs. Wyatt hit a two-run double in the first inning and the Panthers (2-4) went on to open an 8-1 through three innings on the way to snapping a four-game losing streak.
“It was great to see us play a complete game tonight; that was the big deal,” Wellborn coach Nick Burns said. “We played good the last time, but it wasn’t complete.
“The thing we’ve been telling our kids this year is every single day progressively get better, tomorrow let’s be better than we were today.”
Connor George went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for PV, while Holt Bentley, Sam Duncan and Noah Johnson all had two hits. The Raiders made it 8-4 in the fifth, but Phillips hit a two-run double in the sixth to extend Wellborn’s lead.
White Plains 7, Ohatchee 1: Cooper Tinney went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and White Plains starter Duke Barnett gave up four hits and struck out 10 while pitching into the seventh. Ashton Wallace and Paul Laube each had two hits for the Wildcats. Carson Tittle had two of Ohatchee’s four hits.
Jacksonville 13, Glencoe 2: The Golden Eagles’ first seven batters of the game reached base and five scored. JaeTaj Morris and Dakota Willingham both went 3-for-5 at the top of the Jacksonville lineup and Will Greenwood drove in four runs from the bottom. Willingham started on the mound and pitched four shutout innings.
Piedmont 11, Westbrook Christian 2: Jack Hayes hit his second homer of the season and Ridge Fagan went 2-for-2 with two RBIs to highlight the Bulldogs’ 11-hit attack. Cassius Fairs also had two hits and Austin Estes had two RBIs. Brodie Homesley pitched the first five innings to get his third win (3-0) and McClane Mohon pitched two innings of perfect relief without a ball leaving the infield to close it out.
Victory Christian 5, Faith Christian 3: Shepard Sargent broke a 3-3 tie with a two-out, two-run inside-the-park home run in the sixth inning. The Lions led 3-0 after four innings, but Victory tied the game with three runs in the fifth.
Brady Whitworth went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Faith, while Alex Almanza and Brodie Dodson had two hits apiece.
