OXFORD – Mileah Prince and Abbie Mitchell had nine kills apiece and Shay Montgomery had six as Oxford dumped Pell City 3-0 in an area volleyball match Monday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.

Ashely Paulson led the effort to keep the ball alive with nine digs. Cohlee Boone and Adrionna Foster each had seven digs, Ashlyn Burns had four and Mitchell had three. Foster also recorded 29 assists.

The Lady Jackets are 14-12.

ALEXANDRIA 3, ST. CLAIR COUNTY 0: The Lady Cubs (20-8, 2-0) reached the 20-win mark with a three-set area victory over St. Clair County.

OHATCHEE 3, WELLBORN 0: Jorda Crook had 20 kills, five blocks and six digs to lead the Lady Indians to a 25-19, 25-16, 25-15 victory.
