WEDOWEE – Randolph County’s Damarcus Davis has been selected as a defensive back to attend the Blue-Grey National Super Combine in Daytona Beach, Fla., June 15.

A junior, Davis contributed 35 tackles and 6 interceptions – one returned for a touchdown – from his safety spot. On the offensive side of the ball, he completed 67 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and rushed for 323 yards and three touchdowns on 56 carries.

He learned of his selection to the combine as he headed into spring practice.

“It means a lot to be able to compete with different people at the next level,” Davis said. “It feels great to get selected into the Blue-Grey Combine because I want to make my community proud and have kids look up to me.”
