TALLADEGA — Ayanna Foster scored 21 points and led the surprisingly unranked Sacred Heart girls to a xx-xx victory over Vincent in the opening round of the TCC Girls Christmas Tournament.
The victory sets up a huge second-round battle of unbeaten between the Lady Cardinals (9-0) and Childersburg (11-0).
In another tournament game, Janyia Wallace hit three 3-pointers in the first half and powered Talladega County Central over Pleasant Valley 46-34. Emma Hood led PV with 13 points. Through three quarters Hood and Karmyn Sparks had all the Lady Raiders’ points.
